Successful first closing for Van Lanschot Kempen’s North America-focused private equity fund

Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management (Van Lanschot Kempen) has secured $120 million in client commitments at the first closing of its second North American private equity strategy. Through the Kempen North American Private Equity Fund II, clients gain exposure to small and mid-sized private companies in North America through carefully selected specialised private equity managers and direct co-investments.

Kempen North American Private Equity Fund II is the second fund focused on North America and the sixth private equity fund that Van Lanschot Kempen has launched since 2018. The fund forms part of a broader, multi-year private equity programme that enables clients to build a well-diversified private equity portfolio. The fund’s next subscription round will close in October 2026.
