Van Lanschot Kempen signs up for climate goals

On July 10, 2019, CEO Karl Guha, on behalf of Van Lanschot Kempen, along with executives from around fifty other banks, insurers, pension funds, asset managers, and their associations, committed to the government's climate goals.

In the presence of Minister Wopke Hoekstra of Finance, they signed a commitment at Nieuwspoort in The Hague, obligating themselves to report on the climate impact of their financing and investments from 2020 onwards. Additionally, they will have action plans ready by 2022 that contribute to a reduction in CO2 emissions.

The commitment aligns well with the climate ambitions of Van Lanschot Kempen. We see it as good news that the financial sector now supports these ambitions across the board.
