Van Lanschot becomes the main partner of the Van Gogh Museum

Van Lanschot will become the main partner of the Van Gogh Museum. The new agreement stems from the successful collaboration over the past five and a half years between the museum and the wealth manager. As the museum's main partner, Van Lanschot is committed to preserving the work of Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) and the art of his time, enriching and inspiring as many people as possible.

Successful collaboration Adriaan Dönszelmann, Managing Director of the Van Gogh Museum: "The collaboration with Van Lanschot over the past five and a half years has been extremely successful. We are greatly honored that the wealth manager is now strengthening this relationship by signing on as the main partner. In 2023, the museum will celebrate its 50th anniversary, and we look forward to working together with Van Lanschot on this. Thanks in part to Van Lanschot's contribution, the Van Gogh Museum is able to preserve the work of Vincent van Gogh for future generations. 

In 2013, the collaboration began with Van Lanschot's support for the construction of the museum's new entrance. The opening was celebrated in grand style, including the planting of 125,000 sunflowers on Museumplein, which were later donated to the residents of Amsterdam. 

Recently, there was another successful collaboration during the public light show, The Arrival of Spring LIVE, to promote the exhibition Hockney - Van Gogh: The Joy of Nature. Van Lanschot supported this unique and well-attended event, where the elements of seeing, hearing, experiencing, and sharing beautifully came to life when Hockney's painting 'The Arrival of Spring' was projected life-size and came to life on Museumplein."
