Van Lanschot and Van Gogh Museum extend partnership by two years
Van Lanschot and the Van Gogh Museum have extended their existing sponsorship agreement for two more years until the end of 2019. The extension is a result of the successful collaboration and activation over the past two and a half years. This partnership was awarded a SponsorRing in the Art & Culture category in 2016.
Accessibility plays an important role in the new agreement, with the ambition of encouraging more Dutch people to visit the museum.
Karl Guha, Chairman of the Executive Board of Van Lanschot: "We are proud to continue the successful collaboration with one of the most visited museums in the Netherlands. The appreciation that the Van Gogh Museum receives from its visitors underscores its uniqueness and great art historical value. We have the ambition to continue surprising. Being good is one thing, but striving to be even better is a shared goal. I look forward to all the new initiatives we will develop together."
Axel Rüger, Director of the Van Gogh Museum: "We are extremely honored that Van Lanschot is extending its partnership with the Van Gogh Museum. Since the opening of our new entrance in 2015, our collaboration has aimed to make the Van Gogh Museum accessible to as many people as possible and strengthen our relationship with Dutch visitors. With this extension, we are intensifying that collaboration. By creating special programs, we are increasing the opportunities for every Dutch person to visit the Van Gogh Museum. I am extremely proud of the support that Van Lanschot provides to our museum and look forward to our collaboration in the future."
